Job Title: Medical Technician (Med Tech)
Location: Sea Level, NC

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Technician to join our team at an inpatient behavioral health facility. The Med Tech will play a vital role in supporting the healthcare team by administering medications, monitoring patient health, and assisting with medical procedures to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosage and timing.

• Monitor and document patient vital signs, behavioral changes, and overall health status.

• Assist nursing and clinical staff with medical procedures and patient care tasks.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with facility policies.

• Respond promptly to patient needs, including emergencies, and escalate issues to clinical staff as necessary.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, and inventory of medical supplies and equipment.

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a respectful and professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as a Medical Technician or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a behavioral health or inpatient setting is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and the healthcare team.

• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced and sometimes emotionally challenging environment.

• Familiarity with medication administration and medical record documentation systems.

Shift: Full-time, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $16-20 per hour
